Remove Forehead Wrinkles & Lines Problem

October 4th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Here are three things that you can do to help prevent forehead wrinkles and lines. Studies indicate that, if we are careful, we may never need wrinkle reducers. You know the old saying. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!" So, here goes.

Number one-Be a Shady Character and Be Smoke-free

Some studies have shown that simply staying out of the sun will help erase/smooth out a fine line or other signs of age. Numerous studies have shown that people who spend very little time in the sun look much younger than those that spend a lot of time outdoors.

It’s tempting to blame genetics for things like forehead wrinkles and lines, but in studies that compared identical twins, the effects of the sun could not be denied. Even though they had the same genes, the twins that stayed in the shade looked younger.

For years, laugh and frown lines were blamed on habitual facial expressions. Women often walked around with a stoic expression, because they didn’t want to see those signs of age.

Now, we believe that the major cause of wrinkles around the mouth and eyes is cigarette smoke. Both the sun and cigarette smoke cause increased numbers of free radicals in the skin.

So, be a shady character. Stay away from cigarette smoke and smile all you want.

Number Two-Take Care of Your Health

Never forget that taking care of your skin is a part of taking care of your health. The skin is first and foremost an organ of the body, an important part of the immune system. Think what we would be without it. We wouldn’t last for long. That’s for sure.

Everything that has a negative effect on your health will have a negative effect on your skin’s appearance. But, poor nutrition is one of the biggest threats to our appearance, as time goes by. Luckily, ensuring good nutrition is easy.

Nutrients that are particularly important for preventing forehead wrinkles and lines are antioxidants. Even frown lines caused by cigarette smoking may be less in individuals that have a diet rich in antioxidants.

Mostly, we get antioxidants from fruits and vegetables. But, studies indicate that the antioxidants in green tea are particularly potent. They may help prevent damage from UV rays of sun, which could help prevent forehead wrinkles and lines. The studies concerning that are still in the early stages. But, there’s no doubt that eating right will help counter the causes of skin aging and drinking a little green tea won’t hurt.

Number Three-Use a Good Anti-Aging Moisturizer

People spend hundreds of dollars on wrinkle reducers, but fail to use a basic moisturizer on a daily basis. When those anti-wrinkle creams seem to make a difference right away, it is because of the moisturizers and nothing else. Other ingredients take time to work.

The Best Moisturizers contain: antioxidants, protein and other nutrients, not harsh chemicals and abrasives.

If you have a friend that wants to erase/smooth out forehead wrinkles and lines, tell them about the benefit of good moisturizers. They work to prevent and to cure.

Natural Facial Moisturizers – Finding a Safe and Effective Facial Cream

September 14th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Frankly, if you knew what goes into some top-selling facial moisturizers you’d be shocked! I know I was when I started researching about anti-aging creams for my sensitive skin several years ago.

If you’re looking for the best moisturizers, you are looking for a facial cream that will soften and smooth your skin – without causing you any harm. You want your cream to do its job and not do anything nasty you didn’t ask for.

The best solution? Natural facial moisturizers for day and night that use only pure, effective and safe ingredients.

In my research, I discovered that many of the products in my bathroom cabinet contained ingredients I didn’t want to put on my face. The most common of these are parabens.

Parabens: These are chemicals used as preservatives. They are cheap and help to keep the costs of creams down, so you’ll find them throughout the cosmetics industry.

But several recent studies have shown that parabens can cause cancers, such as breast cancer. Take a look at the creams and lotions you have on your shelves and see how many of them list a variety of parabens on the label.

The alternatives used in the best natural skincare products are plant-based preservatives that are non-irritant and non-allergenic.

Fragrances: Fragrances don’t sound very bad, do they? After all, what’s wrong with having a product that smells nice? Well, they are mainly used hide the unpleasant smells associated with harsh, chemical ingredients. Many people are sensitive to fragrances and can experience dry, itchy skin when they are present. If creams use neutral-smelling plant-based ingredients, however, no fragrances are needed.

So what do natural facial moisturizers use instead and are they still effective?

A good natural product has been developed using the latest research from ingredients derived from nature, not from chemicals, petroleum or harsh alcohols. Manufacturers that care about the safety and purity of their products look to nature to provide gentle and effective ingredients such as Japanese sea kelp or manuka honey.

What on earth can sea kelp or honey do for your face? Well, the kelp extract has been clinically proven to increase the amounts of an important acid that is usually only found in the skin of young people. And the manuka honey is a powerful antioxidant that restores and rejuvenates your face while you sleep. These are just some of the effective natural substances you can find in top-quality plant-based facial moisturizers.

You can find out more about the natural facial moisturizers I use myself at my website where I’ll also uncover for you more details about the latest research into pure and safe skincare.

Tasha Sanders publishes research and information about the best facial moisturizers and promotes using only natural, active ingredients–that are safe enough to eat!

How to Prevent Premature Wrinkles Easily

September 14th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Premature wrinkles are a huge problem to most women. We expect wrinkles when we hit the age 40. But when we are still in our mid 20’s or early 30’s, it pretty much sends alarm bells ringing. What could be causing these wrinkles to manifest way before their time?

One major reason is our overexposure to the sun. The sun’s rays are harsher now more than ever. Even ten minutes of sun exposure already does a lot of damage to our skin tissues and cells. How much more if we bask under it for longer than that with minimum protection?

Other causes also include poor nutrition and smoking. Poor nutrition means opting for unhealthy food choices such as those riddled with salt, MSG and heavy flavorings. These ingredients zap our skin’s natural moisture causing a myriad of skin problems. And you don’t even want to know what smoking does. The smoke penetrates into our skin causing it to look dull and dry.

You can reverse the damages done to your skin with ample sun protection, good nutrition, kicking away bad habits and a great moisturizer. You need the help of a moisturizer that contains ingredients with essential nutrients.

It should contain collagen and elastin stimulator like CynergyTK. This ingredient effectively stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to hamper wrinkle formation and erase those that are already evident on your face.

Along with this powerful ingredient, it should also contain hydrating ingredients like Manuka Honey, Avocado Extract and Shea butter. Manuka Honey is produced in New Zealand and its essential nutrients eclipse other types of Honey.

Avocado Extract and shea butter soothes the skin and softens it up to help CynergyTK do its best in your skin. The harmony of these ingredients makes up an ideal moisturizer.

Premature wrinkles need not progress into full-fledged, lifelong skin aging problem. You can do something about it with these easy tips.

And to help you get clearer and younger looking skin, I would like to share with you one anti aging skin care range of products that I discovered. They contain more active ingredients than any other cream on the market. These ingredients are effective moisturizers, because they penetrate deeply to "nourish" the skin. So, they never feel greasy.

I have never seen any other natural products that are as good and report no negative or adverse effects. They are hypo-allergenic, fragrance free and can be used on any skin-type. If you want to see and discover similar results, you should visit http://www.goodhealthyskin.com to find out more.

Five Foods to Eat For Rosacea That Create Clear and Radiant Skin

September 14th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

There are five foods to eat for rosacea that will not only help you to clear the redness and skin eruptions of rosacea, but they also have anti aging benefits and will help to reduce aches and pains in your joints! Learn more about foods that cause rosacea and how you can have clear and beautiful skin.

Doctors are still learning about what causes rosacea and how to eliminate this painful and embarrassing chronic skin condition. Although medications and other treatments can help in some cases, many people with rosacea have discovered a relationship between rosacea and foods.

For many people with rosacea, their skin redness and eruptions are often caused by triggers such as stress, chemical exposure, abrupt changes of weather, or certain foods.

Although this varies quite a bit from person to person, some of the foods that cause rosacea outbreaks include:

  • Foods that contain artificial colorings, flavorings, sweeteners and preservatives
  • Pickled, fermented, marinated or smoked foods
  • Hot, spicy foods
  • Hot beverages
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Caffeine which is in coffee, tea, cola, and chocolate
  • Cheese and dairy products
  • Red meat
  • Sugar

Well, I know that list is a little daunting, as it includes MOST modern convenience foods, and many of the sauces and seasonings that are commonly used to flavor food.

BUT the good news is, that there are many wonderful, healthy foods to eat for rosacea that will have the effect of not only calming down your rosacea outbreaks, but also preventing future outbreaks and increasing your overall health.

If you find it overwhelming to make a big change in your diet all at once, you can do it gradually. When I transitioned to a gluten free diet, I did it in stages over a period of a few weeks. That was easier and gave me time to develop NEW healthy food habits.

Best Foods to Eat for Rosacea

These are five of the best foods to eat for rosacea that not only will benefit your skin, but your whole body. These foods are high alkaline, anti-inflammatory foods that help your body to detoxify and heal skin eruptions. People who have eaten this kind of rosacea diet have noticed that not only do they have clearer skin, they also notice fewer wrinkles and less aches and pains!

  • Foods high in Omega 3 such as walnuts, flax seed, flax seed oil, salmon and sardines help to reduce inflammation and contain valuable, skin healthy nutrients.
  • Berries such as blueberries, raspberries, blackberries contain ingredients help to reduce the inflammation of blood vessels on the skin.
  • Fresh vegetables not only contain many important nutrients, but they provide fiber which is essential to clear skin. A few types of vegetables may trigger rosacea in some people, like tomatoes, spinach or avocados.
  • Whole grains in moderate amounts can help provide warmth and balance to your diet so you don’t feel deprived. Focus on low-inflammation grains like brown rice, millet, and quinoa. Wheat and rye tend to be more inflammatory and allergy producing.
  • Pure water is essential to keeping your skin healthy. It cleanses, detoxifies and keeps all your body systems running smoothly. Drink 16 ounces of pure water when you first get up in the morning, and additional glasses throughout the day.

Learning about the foods to eat for rosacea can help you to create your own healthy diet for rosacea that works for your lifestyle and for your particular nutritional needs. I hope this information can support you in creating radiant and beautiful skin!

Bacterial Skin Infections

September 4th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

The skin is susceptible to two types of infections. They are bacterial infections and viral infections. Bacterial infections are caused by bacteria and viral infections are caused by a virus. Some bacterial infections are common to all age groups while others are primarily childhood conditions. Impetigo is a bacterial infection that affects children more than adults.

Impetigo is an extremely contagious skin disease but is hardly ever serious. It starts with a reddish area of skin. Then a small group of blisters appear. The blisters break open exposing moist, tender areas of skin that secrete a clear liquid. Finally, a honey colored scab forms over the moist red area. The scab may itch. The infection spreads further from the edge of the scab. This disease needs to be treated by a doctor. Since it is a bacterial infection it will respond to antibiotics. The doctor will probably prescribe the antibiotics to be taken orally or by injection. The doctor may also instruct the patient to gently wash the scabs with soap, water and an antiseptic solution and then apply an ointment.

Mupirocin is often the ointment prescribed and has been proven to be very effective.Children should not be allowed to attend school nor play with other children until they are healed. It is also very important for the family to adopt rigid sanitary measures to prevent the spread of the disease. Sheets, pillowcases, towels and washcloths need to be washed daily. The patient should not share soap, towels, washcloths or personal items with any other family member. The area around the blisters needs to be washed daily. Impetigo usually clears up within a week to ten days. Although impetigo is not considered serious if left untreated complications such as kidney inflammation can occur. This is especially true when the disease targets young children.

Two other bacterial infections of the skin are cellulitis and erysipelas. Both infections are dangerous in that they can spread into the blood and eventually to other organs of the body. They are usually caused by either the streptococcus or staphylococcus bacteria. The symptoms for both infections are the same. The skin becomes red, tender and warm. The patient may feel ill, have a fever, chills and swollen lymph glands near the infected area. There is one difference however, In cellulitis, there is usually one large red area that is firm and thick whereas with erysipelas there are several patches of red skin that are not connected. Cellulitis is normally located in the legs where there is a break in the skin that permits the bacteria to enter. Erysipelas usually occurs in one of three places. It may develop on the bridge of the nose and spread along the cheek causing the eye to swell. It can also occur in any part of the body where lymph vessels have been cut. And it can manifest where veins have been cut.

Both diseases need to be treated by a physician and the doctor should be called immediately. Antibiotics will kill the bacteria and cure the infections but if treatment is delayed then the cure takes longer.
Treatment is usually outpatient and hospitalization is normally not required.

What Psoriasis Really Is

September 4th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

The National Psoriasis Foundation  is the United States’ leading patient-driven,nonprofit advocacy organization that serves the estimated 7.5 million Americans affected.

Is a skin disease that causes itchy or sore patches of thick, red skin with silvery scales. You usually get them on your elbows, knees, scalp, back, face, palms and feet, but they can show up on other parts of your body. A problem with your immune system. In a process called cell turnover, skin cells that grow deep in your skin rise to the surface. Normally, this takes a month, it happens in just days because your cells rise too fast.

Psoriasis can last a long time, even a lifetime. Symptoms come and go. Things that make them worse include

- Infections
- Stress
- Dry skin
- Certain medicines

When do people get psoriasis?

The disease can develop at any age beginning from infancy until old age. Although most people who have it will develop it between the ages of 15 and 30 and about 75 percent of people develop the disease before they reach the age of 40. There are also many others who develop the condition at between 50 and 60 years of age.

Different types of psoriasis may be treated differently.

- Plaque
- Guttate
- Inverse
- Pustular
- Erythrodermic
- Palmo-plantar
- Scalp
- Of the nails

The most common type of the disease is the Plaque that affects over 80 percent of the sufferers. The most visible symptoms of plaque psoriasis are some thick, scaly skin whose color may be anything from white, silvery or red. Although these patches that are called plaques can appear anywhere in the skin, they are most common around the knees, elbows, scalp and lower back.

If your doctor determines that you have psoriasis, he or she will give you information about the type of psoriasis you have and recommend a course of treatment for the itchy, flaking skin and other symptoms. You will probably have additional questions and concerns.

A Guide to Cleansing Skin Care

August 28th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Ever wondered how there are some people who seem to be really blessed to have naturally flawless skin as well as radiant skin while others just dream to have such a gift? If you’re one of those people who want to have healthy skin that glows, then you should first take a look at your cleansing skin care regime to see if you’re using the correct products for you.

It’s a common fact that when it comes to skin care, there are a lot of factors that needs to be considered. People have to make sure that the products they use are made perfectly for their specific skin types.

At the same time, one’s lifestyle also plays a part in his/her skin’s overall health. One should make it a point to get adequate sleep at night, eat a healthy diet that is rich in nutrient and vitamins and use a cleansing skin care line that is suitable to his/her skin’s needs.

Since body skin has a slightly different cellular structure than facial skin, it requires skin cleansing products that can cleanse the dirt and grime off easily while at the same time rejuvenating skin cells so the healthy glow will show. One should also, as much as possible, avoid harsh ingredients that can dry out his/her skins, and make it prone to flaking and sometimes even allergic reactions.

Facial skin on the other hand, is much more delicate and needs its own special cleansing skin care products and nightly and weekly regimens. Facial skin is the first thing people notice when it comes to the physical appearances so make sure that your facial skin should be well taken care of in order to avoid the unwelcome presence of irritating spots and unsightly blemishes.

If you have dry skin, opt for cleansing products that have cream and natural oils in their ingredients list as they can cleanse your skin without leaving a dry after feel. It’s also important that after your skin cleansing regime, you hydrate your skin with products that can bring back some of the lost moisture.

In washing sensitive skin, choose cleansing products that are hypoallergenic because skin this type is more prone to irritation. By all means possible, avoid products that have synthetic or a chemical make up in their ingredients list as it will more likely cause a bad allergic reaction for this type of skin.

If you have oily skin, make sure that the skin-cleansing product you use is strong enough to wash off deep-seated dirt and oils from your skin without stripping off your skin’s natural oil. If your product turns out to be harsher than it should actually be, the oil glands will produce more oil that can eventually lead to a mild to serious case of acne.

Now that you know the different skin types and the specific skin cleansing ingredients required by each, reassess your skin care products to see if you’re using the correct skin care products specially made for your skin type.

Best Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream – How to Choose an Effective Cream

August 28th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Are you in need of the services of a high quality, effective anti wrinkle eye cream? The eyes are probably the area hardest hit by the effects of aging, because it is not just the loss of connective tissue that causes wrinkles on the rest of the skin that affect them. There are several different processes that break down over time that affect the eyes exclusively.

There are products available that make feeble attempts at treating the loss of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid, but none of them will give you the results that you would expect because the ingredients that they use are all wrong. You can’t simply introduce these tissues through the skin using a topical skin care product, because these compounds cannot be absorbed by the skin.

The only anti wrinkle eye cream that effectively increases the amount of connective tissue that you have is one that features the natural compounds Functional Keratin, and Phytessence Wakame. Functional Keratin is a duo of keratin proteins that causes the growth of cells within the skin that transform themselves into collagen and elastin. What Phytessence Wakame does is equally amazing.

Phytessence Wakame is an extract obtained from a particular variety of kelp that is exclusive to the Sea of Japan. This extract is effective in preventing the breakdown of your hyaluronic acid, by "disarming" the enzyme that is destroying this connective goo. The ensuing increase in hyaluronic acid greatly compliments the rapidly growing amount of collagen and elastin that you have, as these tissues combine to eliminate your wrinkles.

The same anti wrinkle eye cream that contains the aforementioned ingredients also two called Eyeliss and Haloxyl. These protein peptide and enzyme combinations are the "specialists" when it comes to correcting the issues that only affect the eyes, and the combination of the pair is the only way that this can be completely accomplished.

The problems that need correcting are the slowed process for the removal of hemoglobin and fluid from the eye. The buildup of fluid combines with the thinning of the skin underneath of the eye, and causes bagging. The excess hemoglobin and the loss of efficient circulation to the area are what it is that causes those dark circles to form.

The anti wrinkle eye cream containing Eyeliss and Haloxyl takes care of all of these problems. The pair speeds up the drainage process so that fluid and hemoglobin are efficiently removed, they thicken the skin underneath the eye and increase the firmness and elasticity of the area, and they support capillary stability which improves circulation.

The product that contains this potent combination of ingredients is the only one that addresses each aspect that affects your skin during aging. This product even contains a protein mixture that has been shown to be the most powerful antioxidant ever used in a cosmetics product. Cynergy TK is what it is called, and it does wonders to repair the damage that time has done. This is the high quality, effective anti wrinkle eye cream that everyone should be using.

How to Find Discounts on the Best Wrinkle Creams

August 12th, 2009 omilana Posted in Skin Disorder Comments Off

Unless you have been living on the moon for the last few years, you have probably seen an increase in the number of wrinkle creams out there for you to choose from. The more brands that have come out, the better some of the wrinkle creams have gotten from a quality standpoint. That being said, there is still a rather hefty price tag on many of the best wrinkle creams. Even if the best products for you are not overly expensive it would sure be nice to be able to save a few dollars on those purchases. For this reason, there are a few discounts floating around the internet that can help you save significant amounts of money on the best wrinkle creams, but you must know how to find them. The author examines the best wrinkle creams and the most effective way to uncover discounts on them.

You may or may not be aware that there are entire websites dedicated to sharing the discount or coupon codes of all merchandise, including wrinkle creams. These sites are often a good place to turn to in order to find savings, but there are many other options. The key to finding the best discounts is to start by identifying the best wrinkle creams and then back into the discounts available for that particular brand. It does you no good to get a discount on a product that is ineffective or of low quality.

The best wrinkle creams usually have a live chat session on their website. If you are considering a brand that does not have one of these on their site, you should exercise caution. Not necessarily because the brand is of lower quality, which many times does prove to be the case, but because the best wrinkle creams are more concerned with providing you, the consumer, with the best products for your particular situation and needs, not with just getting your money. It is these live chats that can provide you with the information that you need, but for purposes of this conversation, the discounts that you want.

Make no mistake about it, you should not feel silly or shy about asking these representatives if they have the ability to provide you with any discounts. They usually have something that is available to them and it is often times much more significant than the discounts that you find on coupon sites. You many get a flat dollar amount discount, or you may get a % off of the total purchase price, which can add up in savings, but the key is to take advantage of the good discounts. If you are lucky enough to take find a % discount, jump all over it. While they may not be impossible to find, they are the most effective way to purchase the best wrinkle creams. Be sure to get the eye gel you really want, or the therapeutic cleanser you have been reading about, but take advantage. By purchasing when the cost is down, it is the most cost effective way to outfit your daily skin care routine, even if the purchase is more than you originally intended, the savings will add up in the long run.

While we all want the best wrinkle creams, not all of us are able to afford them month after month. Seeking out any potential savings or discounts that are available on the internet is an avenue for you to save on these items and bring them into your monthly budget. While the economy may turn around soon, and we all may have a bit more money in our pockets, lets learn the lesson to be sure to save every time that we can, and that goes for wrinkle creams as well. These discounts can save hundreds even thousands over the course of a year, and that kind of money certainly adds up!
